Welcome to our new website!

This website has been designed to be a source of information about Dunholme Parish Council and what's happening in the Parish.

We are currently in the process of a major redesign which we hope to complete shortly. In the mean time if you can't find the information you're looking for please contact the Parish Clerk (Laura Richardson) at clerk@dunholme-pc.gov.uk and she'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Our Village

The village of Dunholme is situated in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire and can be found 5 miles north of the City of Lincoln. The first documented mention of the village is in the 1086 Domesday Book.

The village has two schools; St Chads Church of England Primary School and William Farr Church of England Comprehensive School a Lincolnshire Co-op Supermarket and a Post Office. Most other village amenities are shared with the neighbouring village of Welton-By-Lincoln.

Our village is served by a Parish Council comprised of 9 volunteer Councillors.

Recently Reported Issues

Please find below the most recent issues reported via FixMyStreet.

  • A15 at scampton estate, 10th September
I have been driving around for 1hr 15 looking how to get onto my estate at scampton because every road is closed! And saying to divert, only to divert me to another closed road!!! I have a distressed wife and child, and after exhausting literally every road that connects to scampton patch (because they are all closed off with massive barriers!) I have had to ignore the signs and drive up the a15, only to be told by a roadworks guy “oh yeah it’s fine just drive onto scampton” This is absolutely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional! I am beyond angry and disappointed, do the people at the scampton estate just get forgotten about as this is not the first time it has happened!! I expect a full apology and measures to be taken such as signs saying “scampton personnel/people with housing are free to drive through” this is ridiculous and incredibly poor as a council!
