A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 8th January 2024 in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

24/01/01              Chairman’s remarks

Thanks were given for the efforts gone into the Christmas events – the Christmas market and the tree lighting were well attended.

                              None received

 

24/01/04              Notes of the Council Meeting held on 4th December 2023 to be approved and signed as minutes

Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to sign the notes of the last meeting as a true record of events.

 

24/01/05              Accounts and Finance

a. To sign the 2024-25 precept request for submission to WLDC

Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to submit a final precept request of £54,077.

b. To approve the payment of accounts

24/01/06              Parish Council Building and Assets

a. To receive an update on the proposed new play area on Honeyholes Lane, including funding for the project

The funding that has been applied for through FCC has been approved through the first round – the next round is directors panel in March.  The Clerk will update residents in the Dunholme News.

b. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding maintenance required to the village play areas

Cllr Mrs Keetley to try and arrange a further quote for maintenance work needed.

c. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the DDIBC roof leaking

Cllr Pache has attended – a number of gutters were cleared to see if this helped the issue.  The DDIBC will notify us if any issues persist.

d. To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress

A further meeting will be arranged with the village hall and DDIBC to ensure plans are communal for all. 

 

24/01/07              To discuss and submit any comments regarding planning applications received

                              Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to submit the following comments:-

SPE – Concerns raised on the safety of children – access between the 2 sites needs to safe for use.

Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all for Cllrs Seal and Cutter to form the Planning working group.

 

24/01/08              To note the review of the Council Standing Orders and Financial Regulations

The Clerk is in the process of reviewing the Parish Council Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.  These will be circulated shortly for review and approval.

 

24/01/09              To discuss and take any necessary action regarding providing support to Scampton Parish Council in relation to the proposed camp at RAF Scampton airfield

                              Seen list of invitees – Dunholme Parish Council is not included however we support you going forwards and would welcome invites to future meetings.

 

24/01/10              To receive an update on the Christmas events

It was agreed by all to keep an eye on tree lights and PA Systems going on sale to purchase from the Christmas budget.

 

24/01/11              Village Maintenance

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village
  • Timesheet for cleaning invoices are to be requested quarterly.
  • Opposite Wentworth Drive – no bus stop sign
  • Honeyholes Lane needs maintenance

 

24/01/12              To agree to close the meeting to Press and Public

Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to close the meeting to press and public to discuss lease matters.

 

24/01/13              To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the DDIBC lease

Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to set a budget of £500 to approach a solicitor regarding minor lease amendments.
