The Annual meeting of Dunholme Parish Council was held on Monday 22nd May 2023 at 7:30pm in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

23/05/01 To elect a Chairman of the Parish Council and sign the declaration of acceptance
Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Keetley and agreed by all to elect Cllr Pache as Chairman, The declaration of acceptance was signed.
23/05/02 To elect a Vice Chairman of the Parish Council and sign the declaration of acceptance
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to elect Cllr Mrs Keetley as vice chairman. The declaration of acceptance was signed.
23/05/03 Chairman’s remarks
Thank you for the re election to Chair and many thanks to Cllr Seal to his hard work over the past year as vice chair.
There is a lot going on at the minute within the Council, with a lot of large projects on the horizon.
Over the next year, we are looking to be proactive, rather than reactive and dealing with all issues, big or small.
23/05/04 To receive and decide upon applications for co-option onto the Parish Council
Proposed Cllr Mrs Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to co opt Mr Tonks onto Dunholme Parish Council.
23/05/05 To receive apologies and reasons for absence
Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to accept apologies and reasons for absence from Cllr Bilton.
23/05/06 Disclosure of pecuniary interests
None
23/05/07 Notes of the meeting held on Monday 3rd April 2023 to be approved and signed as minutes
Proposed Cllr Mrs Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to approve the notes of the last meeting and sign as a true record of events.
23/05/08 To elect representatives to the following working groups:-
- Human Resources – Cllrs Cutter and and Tonks
- Dunholme District Indoor Bowls Club – Cllr Mrs Keetley
- Village Hall – Cllr Mrs Forrester, Mrs Keetley, Pache, Cutter and Seal
- Village Maintenance – To be deffered
- Christmas event working group – Cllrs Mrs Keetley and Mrs Forrester
- Neighbourhood Plan review group – Not needed
- Play areas - Cllrs Mrs Keetley and Mrs Forrester

23/05/09 Accounts and Finance
a. To receive an update regarding sponsorship of the village planters
The Clerk has received a list of businesses and the final letter – these have been sent out to various local organisations.
b. To receive and approve the quote for the Parish Council annual insurance inline with the Long Term Agreement in place
Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Mrs Keetley and agreed by all to accept the quote from Gallagher for £2710.21 for the Councils annual insurance.
c. To approve payment of Monthly PAYE Tax and NI via direct debit
Proposed Cllr Tonks, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to arrange payment of PAYE Tax and NI via direct debit on a monthly basis.
d. To approve the payment of accounts

23/05/10 Parish Council Buildings and Asset
a. To receive an update on the proposed new play area on Honeyholes Lane / Cyden Homes development
Cllr Mrs Forrester is awaiting the delivery of 2 further draft plans to circulate to Councillors prior to the next meeting.
b. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the upgrade of the wifi connection in the village hall
Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Keetley and agreed by all to purchase a larger router and mesh network
at a cost of £316. It was agreed by all to purchase this using the Parish Council debit card.
23/05/11 To discuss and take any necessary action regarding bus availability within the village
Proposed Cllr Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to escalate the fact there is no bus stop sign or road paintings on the bus stop lay by on Lincoln Road. The Clerk will contact Lincolnshire County Council.
23/05/12 Village Maintenance
a. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village
- A site meeting is due to take place on 8th June 2023 with Cllr Pache, LCC Highways Lead and County Councill Rawlins.
- Cemetery hedge is overgrown into peoples gardens
- Honeyholes Lane – overgrown tree - Arborez to go along ang pass on recommendations to us
- Pooh bin on Merleswen
- Duck crossing signs
- Green weeds at the rear of the Village Hall (paving slabs)
- Market Rasen Road – Arborez to go along and pass on recommendations to us
- Weed spraying around the village hall
- Tennis Club – the toilet is unlocked – send a reminder.
b. To receive and decide upon a quote to undertake work to the overgrown hedge on Lady Elizabeth Court / Scothern Lane
Proposed Cllr Forrester, seconded Cllr Mrs Keetley and agreed by all to accept a quote from Arborez for £400 to undertake the trimming of the hedge at the far end of Scothern Lane.
c. To discuss looking into wildflower areas within the village and undertaking edging of pathways around the village
Councillors will have a walk around the village and see if there are any specific areas of concern.
23/05/13 To agree to close the meeting to press and public to discuss contracts
Proposed Cllr Tonks, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to close the meeting to press and public.
23/05/14 To receive and decide upon quotes for the annual village maintenance and grass cutting contracts
Proposed Cllr Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to accept the tenders from Glendale.
