A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council was held on Monday 3rd April 2023 at 7:00pm in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

23/04/01              Chairman’s remarks

                              Welcome to the meeting.  Cllrs Pache and Mrs Keetley obtained their First Aid at Work certificates.

 

23/04/02              To receive apologies and reasons for absence

Proposed Cllr Lowles, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all to accept apologies and reasons for absence from Cllr Plowman.

 

23/04/03              Disclosure of pecuniary interests

                              Cllr Seal declared an interest in agenda item 5a as he sits on the Committee for FiSH.

 

23/04/04              Notes of the council meeting held on 6th March 2023 to be approved and signed as minutes

Proposed Cllr Lowles, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all approve the notes of the last meeting as a true record of event.  These were signed by the Chairman.

 

23/04/05              Accounts and Finance

  1. To receive and decide upon an application form for a financial donation to FiSH

Proposed Cllr Mrs Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to make a financial donation of £700 to FiSH.

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding sponsorship of the village planters

Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Mrs Keetley and agreed by all that the Clerk will send letters to the sponsorship list.

  1. To approve the payment of accounts

23/04/06              Parish Council Buildings and Asset

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the fencing around Kennington Close play area

Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Pache and agreed by all to accept a quote from Jacksons Fencing for replacing the fencing at the boundary of the field and the A46 for a sum of £6623.78.

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding replacement fencing needed at Oak Wood

Proposed Cllr Mrs Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to accept a quote from Chris Mansfield for £1706.18 to replace the fencing at either end of Oak Wood.

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding any maintenance needed to the Indoor and Outdoor bowls club: -
  • Disabled spaces in the car park – It has been highlighted at recent village hall events that there are no easy access disabled spaces at the entrance to the Jubilee Hall. Quotes will be obtained to undertake this work.
  • Email received regarding the new gate to the Outdoor Bowls Green, new fencing around the area and loose manhole cover – The manhole cover has been fixed due to health and safety reasons. Any other amendments that they have requested can be undertaken at their own costs.  Request the outdoor bowls club take remedial steps to resolve and repair issues with the gate being twisted due to the magnet at the top e.g. add a magnet at the bottom or a piece of packing.

 

23/04/07              To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the future of RAF Scampton, including agreeing on a mandate of support for Scampton Parish Council

                              Cllrs Seal is to compile a mandate on behalf of the Council, Cllr Pache requested seeing a copy before it is sent off.

 

23/04/08              To approve the purchase of badges/lanyards for serving Councillors

Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to make lanyards for the new Councillors. Additional loops will also be purchased so Councillors can wear as badges if preferred.

 

23/04/09              Village Maintenance

  1. To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village

None

  1. To receive and decide upon quotes for the annual village maintenance and grass cutting contracts
