Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Pelcot and agreed by all to subscribe to the LALC internal audit scheme.

Parish Council Buildings and Assets
a) To receive an update regarding the purchase of a Village News / What’s Going On noticeboard for the village
The Clerk and Cllr Seal to continue completing the form.
b) To receive and decide upon quotes for the painting of the village play equipment
Proposed Cllr Mrs Pelcot, seconded Cllr Rodgers and agreed by all to accept a quote from Home and Garden Improvements for a cost of £1482.73 to maintain and paint the play equipment (except the multi-use area in Honeyholes Lane park). Cllr Mrs Pelcot will accept this quote.
c) To receive an update regarding the speed awareness scheme and the purchase of further speed awareness signs
Cllr Pache reported recommended locations from a Meeting with LRSP - Ryland Road (from Welton), Honeyholes Lane (coming into the village) and Lincoln Road (From A46 into the village). LRSP will install posts for each camera at a cost of £200.
A quote for 3 solar powered speed signs of £6140 and £266 for a new battery for the current signs were received from Elan City.
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Mrs S Keetley and agreed by all to accept the above quote. Cllr Pache will accept this quote.
The Clerk will contact Angie Law to see if they are undertaking the speed awareness training again.
The order for the stickers and signs has been requested – we are awaiting permission from WLDC to put these stickers on their bins.

Planning:
To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the Neighbourhood Plan Review
Luke Brown is reviewing the “Call for Land” applications.

Council Functions
To receive an update regarding The Queens Green Canopy, including the arrangement of volunteer tree planting sessions and locations
Cllr Seal reported:-
210 trees have been received and are being stored ready for planting asap.
105 trees are due for delivery this week and a further 105 by the end of the month.
17th March 2022 – Brownies would like to plant some trees around the Village Hall.
The Clerk and Cllr Seal will arrange a volunteer planting session for the end of March / beginning of April.
b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all to accept a quote for £180 for the hire of a supervised bouncy castle at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
212 pupils are at the primary school – the Clerk is looking into prices for a souvenir for each pupil as resolved at last months meeting
c) To receive and update regarding an Emergency Plan / Contacts Pack
This is a work in progress – emergency details for sites within the village are being received.

Village Maintenance
a) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all to undertake the following maintenance:-
- Report general maintenance works along Honeyholes Lane near Cyden Homes.
- The Clerk will advertise for volunteers to help with the upkeep of Oak Wood.
b) To receive an update regarding road safety, including the introduction on a zebra crossing outside St Chads Primary School
No further action can be taken by the Parish Council.
